B Parish records at SOAT. Kraj (district, or locality just to the left of Bohmen) possibly Strakonice? (his first wife was from Strakonice). Could he have lived also in Strakonice?
RESIDENCE: Lived at Sedlice # 1 later in life, but could have come from Strakonice, where his wife was from (see her notes - not sure that she actually came from Strakonice).
OCCUPATION: Vrátný (janitor, porter, gate-keeper, or ticket collector); knízecí vrátný (princely v.).
LOG/NOTES:
-- His first marriage not found in Sedlice. Neither was his birth (nor even the surname "Prochaska" within the parish) found around 1737 - 26 May 1999 report from Třeboň archive.
-- Check original way I entered localities on this family from earlier back up. Are they from Strakonice and not Sedlice?
-- Look for other kids from his first wife in Strakonice. Also, check Sedlice marriages a little later for kids who would belong to him from first marriage. It should list their places of origin. This is especially likely, since his first wife died at 26 years old, and we only have record of one child.
RESIDENCE: Strakonice č. 1.
NOTES/LOG:
-- Check Strakonice, reported place of origin from death record.
-- IMPORANT NOTE: Not sure what this last note refers to, since her death record extract in Třeboň archival report dated 26 May 1999, p. 2. actually says she was from Sedlice č. 1, or the place her husband was from, so we don`t actually know where she was from. Check to see if this information may have come from another source; don`t rule Strakonice out completely. It may have come from a birth record of a descendant.
LOG/NOTES:
-- Had originally typed this in as Straknic, Sedlice,, Böhmen Königreich, Austria, but this is not mentioned in the actual birth entry on p. 3 of the 9 Apr 1998 report. It says only that parish was Sedlice.
-- She was the only child of Vít/Jan Prochaska in Sedlice parish between 1760 and 1769. Perhaps check later than that - 26 May 1999 report from Třeboň archive.
-- She was mentioned in two Třeboň archive reports: 26 May 1999, p. 1-2 and 9 Apr 1998, p. 3.
B He is listed as the father of Alf OLSEN. It is not sure whether this
guy is the right one. Double-check. We know Alf OSTERHOLT is our person,
and this may be Alf Olsen (OSTERHOLT). Further research necessary.
NOTES/LOG:
-- Amir Mojdeh-Mofrad decided to change his name so he went to the county processor and asked for suggestions. They only had two names that he was to decide between: Fardid or Farvid. Thank goodness he chose Farvid! He also changed his first name to Manoochehr. His brother Hassan also changed his last name to Farvid at the same time. Raised by uncle Ali Mohtashami, not sure which side of family (whether paternal or maternal side).
-- POSSIBLE LINK CONFLICT: This person's father is definitely correct. The mother's surname could possibly be this, but is not known for certain. There is a one in three chance this could be her name, although Alan and Hossein Farvid both were somewhat certain that Mohtashami would have been her maiden name. See her notes.
-- Mother died year married.
This was the first son in the Farvid family. He lived only one year.
