B 1992 IGI, listed as parents of Johanne ALFSEN. The child Kari had in her
record that their names were Alv OLSEN and Gunhild TORSDATTER, born in
Sondeled. Johanne's said Alf OSTERHOLT and Gunnil. I assume that they
are the same parents. Further research will determine this. IGI also
shows Alf Olsen with father Ole ALFSEN born 1646 "of Sondeled"

NOTE: Another thing to check: possible other spouse: Anne JONSDATTER-just a
wild shot, but there is a Marte born 1695 in Gjerstad, Lunde. Probably not. I
have found further children, contemporary with our family, but in Lunde.
NOTE: Is Rollef possible name for Alf? There is a Rollef OLSEN who married a
Gunhild THORSDATTER in 1794 who have been cleared for SS.

Her surname is gotten from her possible! daughter, Kari's records. Also
found her in IGI (at least Gunhild TORSDATTER's entry) IGI ref: 177922:film.
Her date is 1653 for birth and "of Sondeled" is place.

1761006:4. It looks like a relative in Scandinavia has done the work.
Double-check. Homme is near Sondeled? Is it a farm? Or is it a town?
On "Det bestes Store Norga Atlas" (BYU G; 2065; B47x; 1985) found a Homme
near Gjerstad, just a bit north of Risor. Ths could be the place. I'm not
sure if it is a farm or not.
