-- Their last child I have record of is born in 1744. The family may go on from there, since this is the year I believe I stopped searching, SRE 24 Sep 2003.
Not sure if this is the mother of our person. Just know Vít is, and that Vojtěch had her as mother. There seem to be at least 2 Vít's having kids in Zborov at the same time, though. Sort out.
-- Went back to 1720 searching for children in Plánice parish. Searched for marriages in Plánice carefully from 1720-1724, found nothing. Probably occurs earlier. Did find a probable sister and brother to Matěj, and I believe they are probably all children of Blažej. Also, no Potužník kids appear after 1727 through 1744. Search for kids in v. 4, before 1720. Also search for marriage in that volume, SRE 22 Sep 2003.
LOG/NOTES:
-- Skránčice, formerly in Plánice parish, now in Zavlekov. Records are only available by contacting: Obecní úřad, matrika, 341 74 Zavlekov, Czech Republic (i.e., they are not available at the Státní obastní archiv).
-- I did find in Plánice parish a couple of Václav Pavlasa having kids, but there is no Marie Magdalena born at the time we're looking for. There is a Marie Pavlasa born, but the name is different enough from Marye Magdalena Pavelec to warrent some doubt. I don't think I'd better connect this one up, SRE 24 Sep 2003.
-- This is awful spelling. I wonder if it might be worth having an archivist transcribe it and send it to you, if possible. See his name in the marriage record of his Son, Matěj, SRE 22 Sep 2003
-- Looks actually like Jirzmi. Definitely Jiřík Baštář. I found a bunch of kids for him, but (of course), I never found Matěj. I wasn't as careful checking 1731 and later, though. Checked 1720-1741, and found the kids listed. I checked carefully for their marriage in Zdebořice parish from 1720, when the parish records began through 1722, when they had the first child I show in these books. Need to check Klatovy now, as the parish belonged to Klatovy before 1720. Klatovy has indexes, thank heaven. Checked marriages pretty carefully from 1720 to 1723, but found nothing. Am now going to check Klatovy, SRE 22 Sep 2003.
-- Didn't find any Jiří Baštář married in Klatovy index from 1723 back to 1671. Am now checking for other of his kids born before 1722, 22 Sep 2003.
-- I did find some more kids for this family in Zdebořice parish. Checking from 1731 forward, however, I wasn't as careful as I should have been. I looked only for K i ovice, and sometimes then I even went faster than I should. I hope I didn’t miss anyone. I’m slowing down again. Checking for parents’ marriage 1722 and before. Found brothers and sisters to our direct-line, but as is usually the case, I didn’t find the actual person. Checked from 1720 to 1742. I then went back to Klatovy parish, of which Zdebořice was a part before 1720. Found some Basta's, but they don't look correct. their names declined quite differently and I didn’t see any evidence that they could be ours. There was a Jiřík Basta born around the 1680's, though, so there is a slight possibility. There is supposedly one born in 1716, some earlier ones in 1713 and before, even with a Jiřík Basta, but I don't know if they are correct or what our Jiřík Baštář's father's name is, without a marriage. This one will have to be put to rest, 22 Sep 2003:
-- Wasn't able to search past around 1744 for children, so should probably do some more searching for the family, SRE 24 Sep 2003.
