B Personal Information. Note says, "W Born Nieder Oesterreich Ch." Archive record sub by Clifford Moore, Fam. Rep: Hermmine Anna Kudrna. Par rec., S.A.M. Blaschek 1956.
RESIDENCE: Oberschönfeld n. 13. From the death entry of his son.
OCCUPATION: Kleinhäusler.
NOTES:
-- "Child born, father unknown" (not known if this child is listed in our FGR here.
-- Research done by Christopher Erben, Gallitzinstr. 7-13/6/5 A-1160 Wien, Austria, dated 19 Nov 1999, states that his birth was not found in St. Christophen parish birth book vol. 8 (1816-1831), nor in the death books vol 9 (1832-1862) and vol. 10 (1863-1902) of the same parish.
-- CHECK EARLIER THAN THE 1816 BOOK! HE COULD EASILY HAVE BEEN FOUR YEARS OLDER THAN HIS ESTIMATED DATE OF BIRTH! ESPECIALLY IF HE ONLY HAD THREE CHILDREN BORN IN THIS PARISH. IT IS ACTUALLY VERY PROBABLE THAT HE HAD OTHER CHILDREN IN ANOTHER PARISH AND MOVED TO THIS ONE IN MIDDLE AGE.
-- I'm at the Diözesanarchiv today and I have found Anton Haß! He was born in 1815 (good thing checked earlier records). Also, as is contrary to what's been reported to me by one or more researchers, there are indeed indexes for St. Christophen parish, 8 Sep 2003.Diözesanarchiv St.Pölten

NOTE: "Child born, father unknown" (not known if this child is listed in our FGR here).SCHRABATZ/SCHABATZ MIGHT BE IN ST. CHRISTOPHEN PARISH.
NOTE: This one may need to be further identified. The researcher didn't look for a marriage record for this person to Anton HASSE, so that should first be consulted to check for age and names of her parents. He just found a birth record of someone named Juliana SIEDL, and so assumed it was our person. It could well be and probably is, but it is best to make certain. The estimated birth date of this person is 1824, but actual date is supposedly 1828. SHE DIED JULIANA GRIEBL, THE WIDOW OF FRANZ GRIEBL. But she was listed as teh daughter of Michael SIEDL, farmer in Schrabatz, and his wife maria Grafenzargel, so the information he obtained on her birth from the unknown source jives with her death record as Juliana GRIEBL. All that needs to be verified is her marriage to HASSE, if her parents were still Michael and Maria.

See son's christening. Look for marriages later of her to somone, and possible other children. This would be in Trauungsbuch 2/7, 1802-1815 or 2/8, 1816-1835. Births of children would be possibly in Taufbuch 1/7, 1802-1815, but more probably in 1/8, 1816-1831. Also, look for this persons's birth in Taufbuch 1/6, 1784-1801. Here is the Bestand of St. Christophen for that time and earlier:
Nr:, Titel:, Datum:
01,2,3/01, Tauf-, Trauungs- und Sterbebuch 1683 - 1705
01,2,3/02, Tauf-, Trauungs- und Sterbebuch 1706 - 1717
01,2,3/03, Tauf-, Trauungs- und Sterbebuch 1718 - 1739
01,2,3/04, Tauf-, Trauungs- und Sterbebuch 1740 - 1767
01,2,3/05, Tauf-, Trauungs- und Sterbebuch 1768 - 1784
01/06, Taufbuch 1784 - 1801
01/07, Taufbuch 1802 - 1815
01/08, Taufbuch 1816 - 1831
01/09, Taufbuch 1832 - 1850Try following this line back in St. Christophen.
Looked for her marriage 1816-1835, but didn't find it. Couldn't get enough books. I didn't look up 1816+ births, nor pre-1816 marriages, though. Checked all other Haas people in the marriage book 2/8 for Christophen, 1816-1835, but didn't find any Haas people who had a father the same as Magdalena's. I'll check marriages 1784-1801 for the marraige of her parents, Christophen 2/6, but don't have earlier volumes. Also, this one doesn't have an index. I do have a baptism book for 1784-1801, however, and I will look up Magdalena's birth, if I can find it.
-- Looked for her birth in Oberndorf part of St. Christophen parish book from 1784-1801 and found nothing. This is volume 1/6. Perhaps need to look at other parts of book, SRE 10 Sep 2003.
See notes of Anton, son of his daughter, Magdalena.
-- Checked for this person's birth in St. Christophen books. Index to BMD book from 1768-1784 didn't find any more. There were several Heiß, though, and these could possibly be the ones. The probabilities are actually that Magdalena was born after this time period, and her father was right on the border and could have been born just before this. Didn't find his marraige, though in the 1768-1784 book. I am setting this aside for a few minutes, so that I can work more on the Cron. line.
-- Checked marriage index for this person, marriages 1784-1801, and didn't find anything. Is it possible that they were married before 1784 in St. Christophen?
-- Found a MIchael Hass, widower: Wiesen, "Wiesen 15, d. 13 Feb 1804. Michael Haas, Wittiber, ge...totally illegible to me. Handwriting problem. Gives some explanation, though. Wife is Anna Maria ... Anyway, index isn't even legible to me.", v. 2/4, p. 252. Check for deaths in Böheimkirchen tomorrow, before 1804.
-- Checked for his marriage in Oberndorf, Christophen, v. 2/6, marriages 1784-1801 and didn't find anything, SRE 10 Sep 2003.
— Checked for this person in indexes for baptism and marriage books 1/2 and 2/2 respectively, of Michelbach parish, which both run from 1722 to 1784. Found nothing, SRE - 10 Sep 2003.
See notes for Anton, son of her daughter, Magdalena.

LOG/NOTES:
-- It may seem strange, but the last time we were in Ollersbach in '94, it seems like we looked for Michael Koller and Anna Amgross in the books and didn't find him, but did her. This time I find him. I'm wondering just how thoroughly this Ollersbach line was researched in the 1950's. Perhaps not too thoroughly. It may still be worth a thorough perusal of the books, SRE 8 Sep 2003.
-- Checked for marriage in Böheimkirchen. Nix, SRE, 9 Sep 2003.-- Need to look for marriage in Ollersbach, 9 Sep 2003.

-- The only Magdalena Ebner I found, born in time frame that she could be the correct mother of Michael Koller. There was indeed some information on her, and I was able to go back some on this family. Need to hire a researcher to go and look up some stuff.
