Moses FINKLE OR MOORE

B AF. Archive Record. See father's notes. County also listed as Linlithgow. West Lothain listed as county. Double-check. Midcalder, Midlothian, Scotland census 1871. Age 13 in 1871. In census, birthplace listed as Linlithgow. This is possible. Linlithgow in relation to Bathgate? Perhaps they are near; perhaps he was actually christened in Bathgate and born in Linlithgow. New info: 1881 census says he was born in Linlithgow, from Mrs. E. Stout's notes. Born 2:00 a.m.

OCCUPATION: Shale Miner.

BIOGRAPHY: Short life sketch from family information: "He was a miner in Scotland When came to America and worked in the coal mines in CO. He belonged to the 79 Club in Leadville, CO. He and his brother Henry Forester Moore were fine
violinists."

She taught her children many things and held Sunday School in her home to give them a religoius upbringing."

BIOGRAPHY: Roya Farvid has wedding picture. Accompanying was life sketch: "He was a business man and often had a business of his own. A wallpaper shop, a paint store, claims on miing land which brought him west. He loved the song "Wonderful Words of Li???" so much he learned to play it on the piano so he could sing it. All he ever learned to play as far as the piano was concerned. He owned land in Denver and lend it to Hubert & Susan Wade. Hubert's sister was staying with them. They fell in love and were married 30 Jan 1896 Greeley, Weld,CO.

BIOGRAPHY: Same source as NOTE for husband, a life sketch: "Their wedding had to be postponed because her wedding dress wouldn't be finished in time to make the trip to Greeley. "You'd want your bride to be beautiful," she wrote in a letter to William. She was little, dainty, and sweet. Her favorite song "Amazing Grace." At one time a young man asked William if eh could speak to his daughter, which he quickly let the man know she was his wife. They were loving grandparents and children called them "Grammie & Gramp."
