The letter received from John was published in The New Zealand Journal, London, 23 March 1850, p. 93. Robert's letter to the editor of the journal was from York and dated 1 May 1849. John's letter was written from Wellington, New Zealand and dated 27 Feb 1848.

-- Tried a couple times with death certificates, came up empty. Check perhaps between 1848 and 1850 within the city itself.
